About Spicy Grove

Spicy Grove Youth Center in Oracabessa St. Mary was established in March 2011 as a non-profit organization. Late Founder and President, Rev. Harry D. Myers (1961-2022) was committed to the transformation of the youth and children in Jamaica. His wife Grace Myers is now carrying on the vision.

Our Mission is to bring hope and the love of Christ to the children, youth and their families of Oracabessa and surrounding communities.

Our Vision is to create a center, fully equipped to accommodate programs designed to guide children, youth and their families to a transformed life through spiritual, moral, emotional, social, mental and physical development.

Mission Team (7 Days)

Have a life-exchanging experience serving and being ministered to in Jamaica. Be engaged in evangelistic outreach, discipleship and projects to make a Kingdom impact in the family, local church, and the community.

Short-Term Missionary (2-10 Weeks)

Explore a possible call to missions with a short-term engagement at Spicy Grove Youth Center. Discover the heart of servant-leadership and grow in your faith as you facilitate the work of mission teams in the center and in the community.

Local Volunteer

Are you a Jamaican seeking an opportunity to serve? Do you need to fulfill community service or internship requirements? Spicy Grove offers engagement with children and youth in after-school/homework programs, sport and creative arts ministry and community outreach.
